Cherry Blossom Festival April 1

No foolin’ – we’ve been invited to have a bonsai display at the Cherry Blossom Festival at the BBG Saturday, April 1. We’ll set up two tables: one will be set us as a formal display, the other as a workshop display with members working on different trees throughout the day. If you can help out at some point during the day, give Anika a shout. We’l like to involve as many members as possible in this event.

This will be a great chance for us to publicize our Annual Show, scheduled for May 20 and 21.

March Meeting and Show

We’ve started planning for our spring show,  May 20 & 21 at the BBG. It’s not too early for members to begin selecting trees and getting them ready for the big event of the year. Kathy Shaner will be our guest again this year, arranging the displays and judging entries. 

After a short demonstration of ways to use image editing software in designing bonsai trees, we enjoyed hearing members describe their trees on display for the meeting.
